Carbon Copy Pro Comprehensive Review: Part 2

Part 1: What is Carbon Copy Pro and What are the Fees Required

Part 2: Is Carbon Copy Pro legit or is it a scam?
To answer this question, it is important to know what defines a “scam”. According to the online Merriam - Webster dictionary, a scam is “a fraudulent or deceptive act or operation”. The purpose of a scam is a dishonest attempt to trap you into parting with your money.

A ’scammer’ may approach personally, with an offer too good to be true or you may receive email, phone, text-message or post an offer that they press you to take up.

They can often use persuasive techniques that can be hard to resist. They can sometimes make you feel that you are petty or inadequate if you resist or even question their offer.

During my research, I have not come upon any reading that states anyone have been approach with any of the techniques stated above. (If you have experienced Carbon Copy Pro doing any of the above then please share with us.)

There are charges that Carbon Copy Pro is a scam because they charge a $49 application fee. However, Carbon Copy Pro says that the application fee is used to screen out people who are not serious about home based business and the fee also helps the person who is doing the sale generate some revenue. Carbon Copy Pro also claims that anyone who joined and paid the $49 fee have a changed of mind and decided not to join can have their money refunded back. If $49 is refund back to a person then does that mean that the person who did the sale and made $39 commission will have to pay back the $39 commission?

I believe that Carbon Copy Pro marketing system is not a scam. There is one major downside that I see to the system. That is that you are branding Jay Kubassek and his program. More about this later.

Is Carbon Copy Pro a Multi Level Marketing (MLM)?
From what I have read about Carbon Copy Pro, it is a MLM. According to Investopedia, a “Legal multi-level marketing (MLM) involves being recruited in order to sell a product or service that actually has some inherent value. As a recruit, you can make a profit from the sales of the product or service, so you don’t necessarily have to recruit more salespeople below you. And while you may be encouraged to recruit other salespeople whose sales would give you more profit, you can stick to just selling the product directly to the consumer if you choose.” The products that Carbon Copy Pro sell is the books, DVDs, and wealth conferences.

My thought about the reviews I read and saw online
During my research, I have come upon many websites and online videos that give mostly positive reviews hoping that will lead people to their website and sign up with Carbon Copy Pro so that they can start making some money. There are other sites that give negative reviews and at the end of those articles or videos they will introduce another system that is similar to Carbon Copy Pro. They will tell you how great their system is compare to Carbon Copy Pro so that you will sign up with them instead of Carbon Copy Pro.

It is normal to have good and bad reviews, however, too many of those reviews are advertisements to get people to sign up with Carbon Copy Pro or any other “Get Rich Fast and Easy” program. Therefore, they are just one sided review. Missing from those reviews are the disadvantages or challenges that people face after they join systems like Carbon Copy Pro. Also, missing from those reviews are the facts about the system. This review I provided, had hopefully given you those facts.

My thought about Carbon Copy Pro
It will cost you time and money
When you join Carbon Copy Pro and paid over $2000, your main job is to advertise the brand of Carbon Copy Pro and get people to join. The more people you get to join, the more money you make and the Carbon Copy Pro brand will spread faster. It is important to understand that your sole duty of advertisement will cost you a lot of lot of time and money to advertise in the internet and also in the real world. You might spend anywhere between $300 to $2000 a month on advertisements and not see any return in profit. Even if you people go to your website or get hold of your postcard you sent out, that does not mean people will instantly sign up with you. Research had be done that states less then 5% of people will reply to advertisement though the mail.

You have to compete with other Carbon Copy Pro members
It is important to understand that you will have to compete with other Carbon Copy Pro member members. If you have done your research you will see that there are a lot of Carbon Copy Pro websites owned by its members. All of those websites are exactly the same with the same content. To stand out among the crowd you must spend a good deal of money. Can you afford to fork out that money in a monthly basis?

Given the same website as other members
Another disadvantage I noticed with Carbon Copy Pro is that when you fully sign up, you will be given the same exact website that you were presented with. This means you and other members of Carbon Copy Pro will have the same website that sell the exact same system you just purchased. All of the websites have Jay Kubassek marketing Carbon Copy Pro. You are actually paying money to Jay Kubassek and his associates so that you are able to market and promote Jay Kubassek. However, the advantage is that you will be paid $39 when someone pay an application fee of $49. You might have to pay back your hard earned $39 commission if that person gets their $49 refunded back.

You need a large amount of money to join
The biggest disadvantage I see is the amount of money need to join the system and the monthly fee you will have to pay. You have to pay over $2000 so that you can obtain your own website, materials that will teach you how to make money and how to market your product. As I stated above, there are three levels you can join. The higher the level you join the more money you can make. It is important to note that you do not need to pay over $8000 to enable you to go to a conference to learn where the opportunities are so that you can take advantage of it and make some big fat money. You can find these information thought the internet, your free public library, or good magazines like Money, Forbes and Kiplinger’s.

Is Carbon Copy Pro for you?
After reading my review of Carbon Copy Pro, I hope you have gain more understand of the system. However, I do not think this is enough for you to reach a conclusion to whether or not join Carbon Copy Pro.

By joining Carbon Copy Pro you are making an investment. Before you join, you will need to know if you have over $2000 to give out initially and the money to spend on advertisements and the monthly fee you will have to pay. As with any other investment plan you consider entering, it is important to ask the right questions to help you make the right decision. How will this money be invested? What is the rate of return? Get a second opinion and do some more research before placing your money anywhere.

And always remember that if a plan promises you’ll get rich quick with no risk or doesn’t tell you how your money will be invested, you should raise a red flag and exercise caution before getting on board.
